Keeping customer data safe

UPI payments need very little personal data, and UPIPayments keeps it that way.

What is stored

The amount, status, references (payment id, UTR), the payer’s UPI ID as reported by the provider, and the customer details you choose to send: name, mobile, email.

What is never stored

UPI PINs, bank account numbers and card details never pass through UPIPayments; customers enter their PIN only in their own UPI app.

Logs

Provider calls are logged with keys, tokens and signatures removed, API logs leave out customer contact details, and logs are deleted after the retention period.
