Installing UPIPayments on cPanel hosting

UPIPayments is built to run on ordinary cPanel hosting, including inside a sub-folder.

1. Check requirements: PHP 8.2 or newer with the usual extensions, and MySQL or MariaDB.
2. Create a database and a database user in cPanel › MySQL Databases, and give the user all privileges.
3. Upload the zip with File Manager and extract it where you want the site, for example public_html/pay.
4. Open the address in your browser; the installer starts automatically.
5. Follow the steps: requirements, database, site and admin, license.
6. Add the cron job shown after installation so pending payments, expiries and renewals are handled every minute.

Point a sub-domain such as pay.yourdomain.com at the folder if you prefer a clean address.
