Connecting your PhonePe Payment Gateway account

PhonePe is the default UPI provider in UPIPayments.

Which credentials?

  • API v2 (current accounts): Client ID, Client secret and Client version from your PhonePe Business dashboard.
  • API v1 (older accounts): Merchant ID, Salt key and Salt index.

Steps

  1. Open UPI accounts › Add UPI account; PhonePe is pre-selected.
  2. Choose the API version and paste your credentials.
  3. Pick Live for production keys or Staging for UAT keys.
  4. Save: the connection is tested immediately.
  5. Copy the webhook URL shown on the account page into the PhonePe dashboard, with the same username and password you entered.

Leave Offer UPI only on to show only UPI intent, QR and collect on the PhonePe page.
